About Corpus Christi Parish

Welcome to our website! We are pleased that you are taking the time to learn more about our parish, and we hope that you will be able to find the particular information you are looking for.

The history of our parish is quite involved, at one time there were two parishes in St. Johnsbury alone. Queen of Peace parish had been joined with the parish in Marshfield. As of June 2011 we have become a single parish, christened Corpus Christi Parish with St. John the Evangelist, St. Elizabeth in Lyndonville, and Our Lady Queen of Peace in Danville making up the parish. St. Leo's in Lunenburg is also part of our parish community, though Mass is not celebrated there, however a church Finance/Council committee remains , and a devotional service is held every Wednesday evening.

St. John the Evangelist, St. Elizabeth, and Queen of Peace all maintain church buildings, with regularly scheduled Masses. We now have a combined parish Council, and Finance Committee under the auspices of Corpus Christi Parish. Each church has their own unique fundraisers and social events.

We have combined all administrative and clerical services. Susan Maurice is the parish secretary for the entire group, and we have one bulletin — which can be viewed in your browser or downloaded for your perusal — which serves our parish community.

Fr. Baker and I welcome you to our site. Please look around and see what's happening in our wonderful community. Be sure to take note of the weekend Mass schedule located on the home page, and the weekday Mass schedule, located in the downloadable weekly bulletin. We would love to have you worship with us.
